Inside DUFYN

Discover more.
Map your infrastructure.

A shared view of assets, ports, certificates and operating systems. The interface below is rendered from the current application with illustrative data.

01 / Visibility

Know what is reachable.

Review discovered assets, confirmed port states and HTTP check results from one dashboard.

02 / Context

Make inventory meaningful.

Assign types and operating systems manually. Compare the most frequent OS and discovered ports.

03 / Awareness

Keep certificates in view.

See valid, warning, critical and expired certificates, with details available in the inventory.

One connected perspective

Understand your infrastructure.
Not just its individual parts.

DUFYN connects discovered infrastructure with the context you maintain: Sites, asset types, operating systems and topology relationships.

Asset discovery

Discover reachable assets with distributed scanners. Keep IP addresses, hostnames, reachability and latency organized by Site.

Targets & services

Configure FQDN targets, inspect TCP and UDP ports, and review HTTP results alongside the services in your inventory.

Certificate insights

Review discovered TLS certificates, expiration dates and negotiated TLS versions. Manage private certificate authorities and server certificates.

Topology visualization

Build physical and logical views, place assets on background images, and connect infrastructure across Sites with diagrams and Site Links.

Inventory with context

Maintain asset types and operating systems in shared catalogs. Classify assets manually and see the most common operating systems on the dashboard.

DNS record validation

Review imported DNS and PTR records alongside your inventory to investigate inconsistencies between names, addresses and discovered assets.

Beyond a simple inventory

From discovery
to understanding.

Deploy scanners where they can reach your networks. The Controller coordinates discovery, Database stores the inventory, and the Manager brings the results into one interface.

✓Coordinate discovery across Sites with distributed scanners
✓Review inventory, HTTP checks and TLS certificate information together
✓Maintain physical and logical views, diagrams and Site Links
✓Use the inventory API to build your own monitoring integrations

A few useful details

Built for real
infrastructure work.

Clear capabilities. Room to grow.

Does DUFYN identify operating systems automatically?

Operating systems are currently assigned manually from a shared catalog. Assets without an assignment remain unclassified. The OS ranking summarizes those assignments.

Are topology relationships discovered automatically?

Discovery populates the inventory. Physical views, logical hierarchies, diagrams and Site Links are maintained by users to describe their infrastructure.

Can I connect my own monitoring tools?

The project exposes an inventory API that you can consume from your own tools. Ready-made monitoring connectors are not presented as part of the current feature set.

Where can I find installation instructions?

The GitHub repository contains the source, configuration and deployment documentation. Start with its README and follow the requirements for your environment.
